XMG Laptop: Legit Desktop Performance in a Laptop?

I have scoured the Internet for a laptop that can smoothly edit videos/photos and kept coming up short. I have been testing out a laptop with a 12-thread 9750H mobile processor and have been finding it less than adequate for my workflow. It does perform peppy until you get into trying to create a panoramic photograph and then it begins to show it’s weakness.

XMG Laptop (Clevo NH57ADS (XMG Laptop)

  • Up to Special 65W 12-Core/24-threads Desktop CPU (aka: Ryzen 9 3900 CPU)
  • GTX and RTX GPU Options
  • Matte 15.6″ FHD 144Hz Display
  • 2x DP, HDMI, 3x USB-A + more
  • Unlocked Expert BIOS + Tuning Options

This is an exciting time for gamers and creatives. Along comes the Clevo NH57ADS with an 8-core desktop processor and high-end mobile graphics at CES 2020! This looks like an epic beast for Adobe Premiere and other CPU intensive tasks!

I would happily go for one with 1080P resolution and 60Hz refresh rate which would be awesome. This power would be quite helpful on the trip to Montreal I am planning right now.

February 10, 2020 Update:

I wrote Clevo Computer and there is no release date at this time. They did, however, say it would be a minimum of 16 weeks which puts us into June.
