Skylum has updated Luminar 3 to v3.2.0

This update adds support for Canon EOS M50 and EOS R Mirrorless cameras.

Update Instructions:

macOS: Launch Luminar, then in the top menu bar choose Luminar –> Check for Updates.

Windows: Launch Luminar, then in the top menu bar choose Help –> Check for Updates.

*After you update, be sure to also rerun the plugin installer if you’re using Luminar as a plugin for Photoshop or Lightroom Classic.

.CR2 VS .CR3

The difference between a CR2 and CR3 file is the CR2 is based on the TIFF unlossy format. The CR3 file is closer to the CIFF (Camera Image File Format).
