What truly are the differences between these three DJI drones?

Mavic Air 2 is the new flight-time master at 34-minutes!
The Mavic Mini is fantastic with 30-minute max. flight time. It’s the drone I absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to get into this niche and doesn’t want to spend too much money to get started.
The Mavic 2 Pro is the winner for the best camera because it has the largest sensor size which will give you better quality photos overall, especially while it gets darker outside.

2nd: Mavic Air 2 with it’s 1/2-inch sensor, followed by the Mavic Mini with it’s 1/2.3-inch sensor.
Mavic Air 2:
Side note about the Mavic Air 2: featuring a 48MP Quad Bayer image sensor for full-size photos, which is like some smart phones out on the market OR you have the option for a 12MP output. Keep in mind the photos taken at 48MP will be a bit grainer, but have additional detail when you take the time to zoom all the way in.
Also, at 48 megapixels you are looking at 20MB JPEG OR 100MB DNG (raw file output) for file sizes.
You’re going to be looking at wanting to invest in larger memory cards for this one:

Ease of Use
Again, the Mavic Mini is a really great drone if you’re just getting started with flying. They have an easier to use app for first time pilots called DJI Fly, instead of the DJI GO 4 app.
DJI Fly is also available for Mavic Air 2! It has a slick user interface, displays popular spots near you to fly, edit within the app and share your content with your friends and family. It’s available in the iOS App Store and on Google Play.
