La actualización del Tesla Model 3 se pone en marcha con más autonomía, nuevas ruedas, maletero motorizado y más

Two days after Elon tweeted the Model S $69,420 price.

We are looking at an impressive range update to the Tesla Model 3, as well:

  • Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus: updated to 263 miles up from 250 miles
  • Tesla Model 3 Long Range Dual Motor: updated to 353 miles up from 323 miles.
  • Tesla Model 3 Performance: updated to 315 miles up from 299 miles

This update also brings the Model 3 above the range of the 2020 Tesla Model S Standard Range!

We are now seeing the new heat pump system (originally seen in the Model Y) making it's way into the Model 3 to make it more efficient. This will really aid in better winter range!

The new Model 3 is likewise getting the entirety of the highlights that we affirmed in past reports, like a powered trunk, new double-paned windows, and a few tasteful visual changes.

True to form, Tesla has done away with the chrome as it did with the Model Y. While in the interior we are seeing a new heated steering wheel with a metallic finish and the new center console.

We are also seeing completely updated wheel lineup for the Model 3 with mildly updated 18″ and 19″ wheel changes and 20’’ Überturbine Wheels.

Tesla Model 3 refresh goes live with more range, new wheels, powered trunk, and more 7

Auto-dimming mirror has been returned to the Model 3 with this latest refresh.

All versions of this refresh are getting more lively acceleration with the Model 3 Performance seeing another tenth of a second taken off so now it's seeing 3.1 seconds for it's 0-60 time.

The Model Y also saw an increase today with a range increase of +9 miles for the Model Y Long Range Dual Motor (316 to 325) and a +12 mile increase for the Model Y Performance (291 to 303).

I own a 2019 Model 3 Long Range Dual Motor and comparing the range to this recent update. Mine has a total original range of 315-miles, which was impressive back then. This is really quite amazing to me that in such a short time Tesla has been able to increase the range by 62-miles.

I would be hard pressed to drive from Madison to Chicago without stopping to charge at some point even if I charged up to 100% beforehand. Now, with these new range numbers for the Long Range Dual Motor, I imagine a round-trip would be possible without stopping to charge! So impressive!
